Sounds in Motion: Students Connect Music and Movement

In the music room students explored the connection between movement and music by using yoga poses as inspiration! We talked about how sounds can take shape, and how our bodies can mirror those shapes through movement. Pictured here is a 3rd grader working hard to hold a variation of turtle pose—a beautiful example of strength, focus, and creativity at the same time!
