The Meadowlark Minute - Social Emotional Assembly Edition

The Meadowlark Minute - Social Emotional Assembly Edition

At Meadowlark Ridge, our monthly assemblies help set the tone for the social-emotional skills we’ll be focusing on throughout the month. For February, students are diving into curiosity and empathy—two powerful skills that help us learn more about the world and each other.

Being curious means asking lots of questions, trying new things, looking closely at objects and ideas, and wondering how things work. It’s that spark that makes learning exciting and keeps our minds growing!

Empathy is all about understanding how other people feel. It’s like having a special superpower that helps you step into someone else’s shoes and care about what they’re experiencing.

A huge shoutout to Mrs. Ebel, who kicked off the month with an engaging science lesson that had students thinking, wondering, and asking amazing questions. Curiosity was definitely in the air!
